Liverpool’s first ever Game Production & Development Conference

20.10.2003  Lifemode Interactive recently exhibited at Liverpool’s first ever Game Production & Development Conference (GPDC) on 8th - 9th October, whereby they demonstrated the latest version of LIFESTUDIO:HEAD 2.5 SDK, their mighty character creation and real-time facial animation 3D package for game developers and studios.

GPDC was the first games conference to be held in the North West of England. Organized by the ICDC (International Centre for Digital Content), an organization part of the John Moore University in Liverpool to provide research, development and education, and to help promote the games industry, attracted some 300 delegates.

Lifemode’s Steve Cook said “We had an amazing reaction from top studios when we were recently at ECTS. With the Digital Arts World event not happening this year, we were very happy to support this new conference and expo in the UK. Liverpool and particularly the North of England have some very established studios and we were pleased to meet a great many industry people from local studios, small and large developers, students from the surrounding Universities and the ICDC.”
